Just before Christmas 2016, Francisco V. Gonzalez III., received an acceptance letter from Chris Madrid, Economic Development, Rio Arriba County. The reason this is important to us at Motion Pix Ent, LLC is because we believe it’s our responsibility to give back our time, energy, and resources to help build up our communities.
We believe in taking “ownership” in our neighborhoods to foster a sense of community and improve the quality of life for our neighbors. That is why we led and sponsored the “Success Club” at Northern New Mexico College and why we’re currently donating time & production services to the local Espanola chamber of commerce.
Although MPE has a full production calendar we believe community action is a worthy cause. Thank you to Chris Madrid for inviting us and deep appreciation to RCAC & NHLI for provided the resources to support the program.
The acceptance letter reads…
Dear Francisco V. Gonzalez III,
Thank you for submitting your application to participate in the inaugural Northern Heritage Leadership Institute. The Northern Rio Grande National Heritage Area along with the steering committee is pleased to inform that you have been selected to participate in the NHLI Leadership Training Course beginning in January. Moreover, all participants will be receiving a scholarship for the 2017 cohort thanks to a grant facilitated by the Rural Communities Assistance Corporation (RCAC).
We look forward to seeing you on Friday January 20th at the Heritage Center for the first training date. In the meantime we will be sending out additional information after the New Year.
Have a Blessed Holiday Season!
